Road and Traffic Report for W/C 11th June 2007

SLIGO AREA Major Works Road works will take place on Local Road No. 202 at Creevykeel, Cliffony. Works are expected to last 1 day Road works will take place on Regional Road No. R292 in Knappaghmore. Works will be ongoing. Road works will take place on Regional Road R286 at Hazelwood. Works will be ongoing. Road restoration works will take place on Calry Rd. from the Calry Rd./Hazlewood Rd. junction to the Borough boundary.  Traffic control will be in operation. Works are expected to last 2 weeks Minor Works: Works to commence on the installation of tactile paving and pedestrian crossing at Thomas St./Castle St. Junction. Works are expected to last 3 weeks. Footpath works ongoing at Markievicz Heights Works ongoing at Molloway Hill / Ash Lane Junction and Markievicz Road/Hughes Bridge Junction A Scaffolding Licence has been issued for works at Shenanigans Pub in Bridge Street, Sligo, the works to continue until 3rd  October 2007. Pedestrian access will be provided along the existing footpath Road surfacing works will take place on Highfield Road, Rathanna and Cairns Road.  Traffic control will be in operation.  Works are expected to last 1 week. Footpath works to commence at Yeats Drive, Cranmore Footpath re-construction works are ongoing at Cartron Bay
