Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 & Part VIII and X of the Roads
Regulations 1994 (SI No. 119 of 1994)
Notice is hereby given of the intention of Sligo Borough Council to close R286 -
Molloway Hill, The Mall, Stephen Street, Hyde Bridge, Lower Knox Street, Wine
Street and Forthill Car Park to all vehicular traffic on Tuesday 22nd May
2007 from 12 noon to 5:00 pm.
Alternative route via Ash Lane (N16) to Hughes Bridge (N4) onto the Inner Relief
Road and Lord Edward Street (R292).
Notice is also hereby given of the intention of Sligo Borough Council to close
part of the N15 from its junction with the R291 to Scottsman Walk to all
vehicular traffic on Wednesday 23rd May 2007 from 10:30 am to 12 noon.
Alternative route via Scottsman Walk and the R291.
The proposed closures are necessary to facilitate the FBD RÁS.
Any person aggrieved by the proposed closure may lodge a written objection
setting out the grounds therefore with the Town Clerk, City Hall, Quay Street,
Sligo, not later than 4:00pm on Wednesday 25th April 2007.
