To facilitate refurbishment works at the Merville Community Centre the bottle banks have been temporarily removed from the car park. The Council has been advised by the Contractors undertaking the works that this is necessary as a measure of precaution for the general public using the bring bank facility. It is hoped that this work will be completed within a 4 to 6 month period.
Merville Community Centre has also assured the Council that when the centre is complete, the bottle banks can be re-located back to the original site in the car park.
Other bring bank centres available for use include, the Market Yard site and the site at the ‘Squeaky Clean’ garage on the Bundoran Road.
