Sligo Borough Council is requesting the assistance of
registered landlords to help source suitable private rented accommodation for
the resettlement of a number of Iranian Kurdish families.
Ireland is one of 18 countries participating in this accommodation programme
which is being co-ordinated by the United Nations High Commissioner for
Refugees. The request for assistance was issued through the Reception and
Integration Agency, (RIA), Department of Justice, Equality and Law reform.
The accommodation is required from mid September. The accommodation type and
price range is as follows:
- 5 no 3 bedroom units max €153/week
- 1 no 4 bedroom unit max €170/week
