Cathaoirleach's Awards
The Cathaoirleach’s Award Scheme was launched in 2001. The scheme was devised to reward people in County Sligo who have given dedicated service to their community.

The winner of the best presented nomination form in 2006 was Ransboro Development Association.
The scheme is launched in January of each year, with the Awards Ceremony being hosted in County Hall on the last Friday in May.
