Sligo Borough Council - Proposed Developments
Notice under the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act 2000 as amended, Part XI, Section 179, and the Planning and Development Regulations 2001, Part 8 (Article 81) as amended.
Notice is hereby given that Sligo Borough Council proposes to demolish the structures at the following locations:
- Number’s 1-5(inclusive) O’Dwyer Court Apartments, Cranmore Road, Abbeyquarter South Td., Sligo
- Number’s 1a Cranmore Road, Cranmore, Abbeyquarter South Td., Sligo
- Number’s 14-18(Inclusive) Cranmore Place, Cranmore, Abbeyquarter South Td., Sligo
- Number’s 19-36(inclusive) Mc Neill Drive, Cranmore, Abbeyquarter South Td., Sligo
- Number’s 7-12(inclusive) Devins Drive, Cranmore, Abberquarter South Td., Sligo
- Number’s 1-16(inclusive) Carroll Drive, Cranmore, Abberquarter South Td., Sligo
- Number’s. 31-37(inclusive) Carroll Drive, Cranmore, Abbeyquarter South Td., Sligo
- Number’s 1-8 (inclusive) Benson Drive, Cranmore, Abbeyquarter South Td., Sligo
- Number’s 11-18 (inclusive) Benson Drive, Cranmore, Abbeyquarter South Td., Sligo
- Number’s 1-8 (inclusive) Langan Drive, Cranmore, Abbeyquarter South Td., Sligo
The demolition together with ancillary site works will be carried out on a phased basis and shall include:
- Demolition and removal of materials of all associated structures and out buildings
- Disconnection and removal/relocation of all associated services
- Landscaping and boundary treatment
- Erecting temporary hoarding
- All Associated site works
Plans and particulars of the proposed works are available for inspection or purchase on payment of a specified fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making such a copy by members of the public during office hours at the Planning Office, Sligo Borough Council, City Hall, Quay Street, Sligo and the Cranmore Regeneration Office, No. 7 Devins Drive, Cranmore, Sligo from Wednesday 24th September 2008 until Thursday November 6th 2008 inclusive.
Submission or observations with respect to the proposed development dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would situate, may be made in writing and must reach the undersigned not later than 4.00 pm on Friday 21st November 2008.
