Temporary Closing of Road - Vernon Street

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROAD SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT 1993 AND PART 8 ROADS REGULATIONS, 1994
(SI NO.119 OF 1994)

Sligo Borough Council has decided to close Vernon Street from from  9am on Friday 8th August 2008 to 6pm on Monday 8th September 2008.

Traffic will be restricted to local access and emergency vehicles only. West bound and North bound traffic will be diverted via Burton St/Connolly St and Mail Coach Road. South bound traffic will be diverted via Pearse Road onto Mail Coach Road at Christie’s Supermarket. East bound and North Bound traffic will be diverted via Christie’s/Pearse Rd.

This closure is necessary to facilitate construction works. Signed traffic diversions will be in operation. Sligo Borough Council regrets any inconvenience that this closure may cause. For further information please contact P Devins at 071-9111493.
