Public Notice of Application for a Foreshore Lease

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 19 of the Foreshore Act, 1933 that Sligo County Council has applied to the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food for permission to occupy an area of foreshore in the Port of Sligo, for the purpose of the installation of berthing pontoons. Any person who wishes to make an objection to, or a representation in respect of, the grant of the permission sought should do so in writing giving reasons to the Coastal Zone Management Division, (Ref: MS51/14/167), Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Building C, West Cork Technology Park, Clonakilty, Co Cork, within twenty-one days of publication of this Notice.

All objections and representations received will be forwarded to the applicant for comment prior to any decision being made in the matter. A site plan of the area in question and drawings of the works may be inspected at Sligo Garda Station.
