Temporary Closing of Road Carncash to Old Bundoran Road

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS, SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT, 1993

Notice is hereby given of the intention of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic Local Road L-7421-0 from its junction with Local Road L-3407-0 in Carncash south to its junction with the Old N15 Bundoran Road in Shannon Eighter.

The period of proposed closure is from Monday 14th July 2008 to Monday 11th August 2008 to facilitate new water and sewerage works in this area.

Alternative route will be via Local Road L-3407-0 from its junction with Local Road L-7421-0 in Carncash to Local Road L-7422-0 in Barroe, to the Old N15 Bundoran Road in Shannon Eighter, to the N15 National Primary Road in Shannon Eighter, to Local Road L-3407-0 in Lisnalurg, to it junction with Local Road L-7421-0 in Carncash.

Any person aggrieved by the proposed closure may lodge a written objection setting out the grounds therefore with the Director of Services, Infrastructural Services Section, Sligo County Council, Governor’s House, St. Anne’s Place, Sligo, not later than 5.00 pm on Tuesday, 24th June, 2008.
