Minor Road Resurfacing Works 2009

Competent Contractors are invited to tender for the carrying out of minor road resurfacing works during the period 1st January 2009 to 31st December 2009.

Contractors without their own internet access can avail of access through their local County Council Library. Pre-booking of this service is essential. Tender documents may be obtained from the Customer Services Desk, Sligo Borough Council, City Hall, Quay Street, Sligo or Roads Department, Sligo Local Authorities, Highmarket House, Old Market St., Sligo.

It will be a condition of the award of work that successful tenderers comply with Tax Clearance Procedures as outlined in Department of Finance Circular (F49/29/84) No. 22/95.

Sligo Borough Council is subject to the terms of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 1997.  If tenderers consider that any of the information supplied by them is either commercially sensitive or confidential in nature, this should be highlighted and the reason for its sensitivity specified.  In such cases, the relevant material will, in response to FOI requests, be examined in the light of the exemptions provided for in the FOI Act. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

Completed tenders should be returned to the Town Clerk, Sligo Borough Council, City Hall, Quay Street, Sligo marked “Tender for Minor Road Resurfacing Works 2009” to arrive no later than 5.00 pm on Friday 16th  January, 2009.
