Text Alert Messaging System

Sligo Borough Council has introduced a “Text Alert” messaging system to enable people to report traffic management problems around the streets of Sligo.  This system is specifically targeted at hazards such as vehicles illegally parked in Disabled Parking Spaces, Bus Areas or designated Trading Areas, or other obstructions on the town’s footpaths.  Anyone encountering such hazards should send a text to the number listed below and a message will be relayed to the Traffic Wardens for immediate attention.  This service is available during the hours 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
