Christmas Holiday Arrangements



Please note that the offices of Sligo Local Authorities as listed below will close to the public at 5.00p.m. on Friday, 23rd December 2011 and will re-open at 9.00a.m. on Tuesday, 3rd January 2012. 

  • County Hall, Riverside, Sligo
  • City Hall, Quay St, Sligo
  • Governor’s House, St. Annes Place, Sligo
  • Council Offices in St. Anne’s Place, Market Yard, Cleveragh Industrial Estate, Cleveragh Business Park, High Market House, Fire Service Office and Harbour Office
  • Area Offices at Ballymote, Grange, Enniscrone, Tubbercurry

Sligo Motor Taxation Offices

The Motor Taxation offices at Cleveragh, Sligo and the One Stop Shop, Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo, will close to the public at 12.30p.m. on Friday, 23rd December 2011 for end of year balancing and annual stock-take.  The offices will re-open at 9.30a.m. on Tuesday, 3rd January 2012.

Sligo Central Library (Including Reference and Local History Library), Stephen Street, Sligo

Closed from 5:00pm on Friday, 23rd December 2011 and re-open at 9:30am on Tuesday, 3rd January 2012.

Tubbercurry Community Library

Closed from 5:00pm on Friday, 23rd December 2011 and re-open at 12noon on Tuesday, 3rd January 2012.

Ballymote Branch Library

Closed from 5:00pm on Friday, 23rd December 2011 and re-open at 9:30am on Tuesday, 3rd January 2012.

Enniscrone Branch Library

Closed from 5:00pm on Friday, 23rd December 2011 and re-open at 3:00pm on Tuesday, 3rd January 2012.

Sligo County Museum

Closed from 12:30pm on Friday, 23rd December 2011 and re-open at 3:00pm on Tuesday, 3rd January 2012.

Emergency Services will be provided as usual during the holiday period.
