Temporary Closing of Roads
TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROAD SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT 1993 AND PART 8 ROADS REGULATIONS, 1994, (SI NO.119 OF 1994)
Notice is hereby given that Sligo Borough Council intends to close the following roads to all vehicular traffic in order to carry out essential road restrengthening works in the following locations:-
- Mountshannon Road on Tuesday 27th July 2010 from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm
- Clarion Road from St Edward’s School to the entrance of Clarion Village Apartments on Tuesday 27th July 2010 from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm
- Northern section of Holborn Hill on Wednesday 28th July 2010 from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm
- Larkhill Road on Thursday 29th July, 2010 from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm
- St Anne’s Road along the entrance to Sligo School Project on Tuesday 3rd August 2010 from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm
- Circular Road on Wednesday 4th August 2010 from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, from its junction with Old Pound Street to its junction with Marymount.
Local access will be provided for with minimum delays expected.
Objections may be made in writing to Ms Paula Gallagher, Acting Director of Services, Sligo Borough Council, City Hall, Quay Street, Sligo, before 1.00 pm Tuesday 6th July 2010.
