ARE YOU COMPLIANT WITH THE BATTERY AND WEEE REGULATIONS?
Retailers of Electrical and Electronic Goods: Household and Automotive Batteries and Accumulators must now register with WEEE Ireland at www.weeeregister.ie or alternatively register each of their premises with the appropriate Local Authorities.
If you are registered on the WEEE database you do not have to re-register under the Battery Regulations database.
The registration fee to Sligo County Council is €20.00 per annum. Registration forms are available from the Environment Section Unit 9, Cleveragh Business Park, Sligo. Telephone: 071-9111907 or on the Council web-site at:
