Mayor Cawley Hosts Successful Coffee Morning

Mayor of Sligo Cllr Veronica Cawley hosted a very successful coffee morning in aid of the North West Hospice on Thursday 18th September. The event which has become a national annual event is also an important date in City Hall’s calendar.
It’s an opportunity for members of the public to drop in for a cup of coffee and a friendly chat with the mayor and staff of Sligo Borough council. This years coffee morning was also attended by a representative of the North West Hospice who was impressed with the organization of the coffee morning at City Hall.

Mayor Cawley was delighted and touched by the generosity of the staff and members of the public who contributed to the coffee morning, which so far has raised an impressive €1,817.00.

This cake was made especially for the Northwest Hospice Coffee Morning & was later donated to Cregg House.
