Notice to Boil Update

Sligo County Council in conjunction with the HSE wish to notify residents in all areas of North Sligo Town and Kiltycahill except Rosses Point/Ballincar that the current Boil Notice is now lifted. Water from the Foxes Den Reservoir now supplies these areas.

The Rosses Point /Ballincar area will remain on the Boil Notice as it has not been possible to source an alternate supply. This notice will only be lifted when the problem with Kilsellagh reservoir has been resolved. The water quality at the reservoir is steadily improving and is being monitored on a daily basis by Sligo County Council.

In the meantime Sligo County Council will continue to supply drinking water to the water station in Rosses Point village adjacent to the Water Front restaurant, while the Notice remains in place.
