Cllr. Veronica Cawley elected Mayor of Sligo




Newly elected Mayor of Sligo Councillor Veronica Cawley says she is ‘humbled and honoured’ at being elected First Citizen of her native city. Councillor Cawley was proposed by Councillor Jimmy McGarry and seconded by Councillor Declan Bree. The new Mayor anticipates a ‘bright future for Sligo’ and says she is ‘committed to working alongside the people of our city to make it an attractive and pleasant place to live in and visit.’
