Roads Update Sligo Saturday 29th October

5.00pm: All roads in Sligo town  are clear following severe localised flooding this morning, Saturday. Roads and Water Services crews together with Fire Services personnel were deployed in the affected areas, including Cleveragh, Riverside,Cranmore, Ballytivnan,Pilkington Terrace and Calry Road.

12:00pm: Ballytivnan road in Sligo has re-opened to traffic. Motorists and pedestrians asked to beware of localised flooding around Sligo following heavy showers this morning.

11.00am: Ballytivnan road in Sligo closed from Ash Lane Junction due to flooding. Sligo Fire Service and Water Service staff working to alleviate flooding in affected areas around Sligo.

10:30am:  Very heavy downpours this morning has resulted in localised flooding in many areas of Sligo town and motorists and pedestrians are asked to take particular care.
