Kempton Delegation visit Sligo

MAYOR HOSTS KEMPTEN DELEGATION

The Mayor of Sligo Councillor Rosaleen O’Grady has hosted a reception in City Hall for a delegation from one of Sligo’s twin towns, Kempten. Sligo’s association with Kempten was formalised in a charter signed in 1990, and in the years since then the close friendship has evolved at many levels, including the development of civic, sporting and cultural links. The Mayor thanked the visiting delegation for the kindness and hospitality shown to the many people who have travelled to Kempten over the years under the exchange  programme.
