Major Enterprise Promotion on 23rd April

In an effort to attract new enterprise to Sligo and to offer supports to existing businesses, Sligo’s County Development Board is hosting an ‘Enterprise Promotion Day’.   It will be held in the Glasshouse Hotel on Thursday, April 23 from 4pm to 8pm.  Among the agencies taking part are Enterprise Ireland, Sligo County Enterprise Board, Sligo LEADER Partnership, FAS, Teagasc and Failte Ireland.

Sligo County Council’s Director of Services for Community, Enterprise, Arts and the Environment, Rita McNulty, anticipates a high level of interest in the event.

“At a time when local enterprises are facing unprecedented challenges I believe people will benefit from the opportunity to engage with the agencies and to obtain advice and information.  Sligo is acknowledged as the key centre of economic growth in the Northwest, and it is important that we provide the necessary supports to facilitate new and potential enterprise”.
