Cranmore Regeneration

TENDERS SOUGHT FOR CRANMORE REGENERATION PROJECT

Consultation has been on-going for some time between Cranmore residents and Sligo County Council’s  Regeneration Team towards vacating the centre block area of the Cranmore estate.  With the vast majority of units now vacated, the Regeneration Team has commenced a competition for the appointment of a contractor to demolish these units.

Excluded from this contract are units on Devins Drive, currently occupied by the Regeneration Office, the Cranmore Community Co-operative Office together with a small number of other units throughout the block for which replacement units are not yet secured.

The closing date for receipt of tenders for the demolition contract is March 6th, 2008.  It is anticipated that demolition works will commence shortly afterwards.
